Alert: B2C Import Restrictions

The Turkish Ministry of Trade has tightened regulations for B2C imports. Failure to comply with these rules results in immediate destruction or return of goods at the merchant's expense.

1. The €30 Threshold

• Rule: No single B2C shipment can exceed 30 EUR in declared value.
• Action: Ensure your cart values or split-shipment logic accounts for this strict limit.

2. The "5 Orders" Limit

• Rule: A single citizen ID number can only receive a maximum of 5 international orders per month.
• Risk: If your customer is a frequent shopper, your package might be the 6th one that gets blocked.

3. MANDATORY ID Number (TCK No)

• Rule: The receiver's 11-digit National ID Number (TCK No) is MANDATORY for customs clearance.
• Validation:
  • Must be 11 digits long.
  • Must be provided on the shipping label.

1. Checkout Field: Add a mandatory "National ID" field to your Shopify checkout for Turkey.
2. WhatsApp Bot: If missed at checkout, use an automated WhatsApp bot to request the TCK number before fulfillment.
3. Validation: Verify the length is exactly 11 digits before submitting to Just DS.
